Executive M.P.A. Program

The executive master of public administration (E.M.P.A.) degree is designed for practicing professionals and managers with at least six years of public, nonprofit, or relevant private sector experience. The E.M.P.A. provides seasoned managers and professionals with opportunities to prepare for leadership roles in their organizations. The E.M.P.A curriculum parallels that of the master of public administration (M.P.A.) degree program, but also is tailored to emphasize current management processes with a focus on leadership, accountability, and strategic management. Students accepted into the E.M.P.A. join a cohort group that completes the curriculum together over a two-year period, attending classes two days a week.

The E.M.P.A. leads to an M.P.A. degree accredited by the National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration.
