The School of Criminal Justice offers a 30-credit program.
Students are required to complete 27 credits in course work and a
3-credit fieldwork course. Students who are currently working in
the Criminal Justice field may substitute another 3-credit class for
the fieldwork requirement. Students wishing to make a
substitution may only do so with the permission of the graduate program director or the associate dean of academic and student services.
Students should refer to the Criminal Justice Master's Program Document for
a detailed discussion of current policies, procedures, and requirements
for completing the master's program of studies. Copies are available
through the Office of Academic and Student Services, School of Criminal
Justice. Students are provided with a copy prior to their initial
enrollment and are expected to keep it as a reference handbook and to
familiarize themselves with the principal rules and regulations
contained in it. Students should refer to it regularly to assist them
in successfully completing the master's program. Any significant
changes made after the publication of this catalog will be circulated
to registered students. *
