Sexual Assault Services and Crime Victim Assistance staff provide
support and assistance to crime victims, survivors, and other members
of the university community. Advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling,
and referrals are available. Programs and services for students,
faculty, and staff promote ways of reducing the risk of being a crime
victim and the availability of resources and options should a crime
occur. With a special emphasis on crimes of interpersonal violence,
educational programs are available to the university community on
issues concerning sexual assault, domestic/dating violence, stalking,
and peer harassment. For more information or to schedule an appointment
or program, call 732/932-1181, visit the department web site at http://sexualassault.rutgers.edu,
or email the staff at sascva@rci.rutgers.edu. The office is located at
3 Bartlett Street on the College Avenue campus, New Brunswick.
