Libraries

Rutgers University Libraries includes libraries at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, Rutgers University-Newark, and Rutgers University-Camden, which operate as a unified library system with coordinated public services, technical services, and collection development programs, including digital initiatives and a pioneering institutional repository. The libraries are committed to developing innovations in access services, information literacy, and digital initiatives. With over four million volumes and access to a world of electronic resources through membership in consortia such as the Association of Research Libraries, OCLC, and the Committee on Institutional Cooperation (the nation's premier higher education consortium of top-tier research institutions), the libraries are well able to serve the faculty, students, and staff of Rutgers University.

The Archibald Stevens Alexander Library, located on the College Avenue campus directly adjacent to the School of Communication and Information (SC&I), has extensive holdings in the research and curricular areas relevant to SC&I. For more information about the libraries, visit libraries.rutgers.edu.
