In order to be considered for candidacy, a student must complete a Diploma Application online at the New Brunswick registrar's website. The forms must be submitted as follows:

Unless the form is submitted at the appropriate time by the candidate, the degree is not conferred and graduation consideration is deferred in some cases by as much as a year until the next degree date for which the candidate files a timely application.
If, after filing the application, a candidate is unable to complete the degree requirements by the end of the semester for the degree date specified, another application must be filed.
