Interdepartmental Registration

Undergraduates may register for courses across the university as permitted by each academic unit. However, students should review their plans with an adviser to assure they are meeting the requirements to graduate.

With the approval of their adviser, graduate students may register for courses in other departments of Rutgers. They may be required to obtain permission from the department offering the course. Students in other Rutgers departments, schools, or colleges must apply to the School of Communication and Information program directors for permission to enroll in courses offered by the programs.
