Academic Advisement
Students are encouraged to seek advisement from
their program director, program coordinator, and for M.B.A. students, from the academic advisers in either the Part-Time MBA Program Office or the Full-Time MBA Program Office, but are also reminded
that such advisement can be of much greater value if the material in this
catalog has been studied carefully. Department chairs or their designee can be
helpful in offering assistance in selecting areas of concentration.
Diploma Application
Degrees are conferred by the university upon
recommendation of the faculty. Diplomas are issued at the annual commencement
in May. Candidates must complete the Graduate Diploma Application and the Degree
Completeness Worksheet online at
http://myrbs.business.rutgers.edu/graduation/mba-students. These documents must be completed no later than August for the diploma dated
October, November for the diploma dated January, and March for the diploma
dated May. A new application is required if the candidate is unable to complete
the degree requirements by the end of the trimester specified in the diploma
application.
