Degree Requirements

The master of science in business of fashion (M.S.B.F.) is 30-credit advanced interdisciplinary program addressing the unique aspects of the fashion industry from business, finance, and marketing perspectives. As a full-time student, you can complete the program in as little as one year; part-time students can complete the program within two years.

The program allows students the option of studying full-time or part-time. Students must complete 30 credits from our specialized M.S.B.F. business courses tailored specifically toward the fashion/beauty industry. As a full-time student, you can take five fixed courses (plus a 1-credit seminar) a semester (fall/spring), finishing in as quickly as two semesters. Alternatively, full-time students also have the option to complete the program over three semesters, by taking 13 credits for two semesters each and attending part time the last semester (4 credits). Course schedules are determined by the program director on an individual basis. M.S.B.F. classes are held during fall and spring semesters only.

A rotating selection of courses is offered year to year.
