How to Apply

Applications for the Newark College of Arts and Sciences and University College-Newark may be obtained online at http://admissions.rutgers.edu. The admissions office strongly encourages all prospective students to use the online application because it is faster and easier than the traditional paper application. If students find they need assistance with completing the online application, they may visit the Rutgers-Newark Office of Admissions located in Blumenthal Hall, 249 University Avenue, Newark NJ 07102 or call 973-353-5205 and an admissions staff member will provide guidance. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Students who wish to attend the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark must first apply and be accepted to either the Newark College of Arts and Sciences or University College-Newark. They also must fulfill a set of prerequisite courses and obtain a minimum grade-point average to remain in the business school. See the Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark section for more information.
