The law school offers two courses in legal ethics and professionalism: Professional Responsibility and Legal Profession. Successful completion of one of these courses, or an equivalent course providing instruction in the history, goals, structure, duties, values, and responsibilities of the legal profession and its members, including instruction in the Model Rules of Professional Conduct of the American Bar Association, is required.
For admission to the New Jersey Bar Exam, students need not take the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam (MPRE) if they receive a grade of C or better in the course in Professional Responsibility or the course in Legal Profession.
