Students enrolled in other accredited law schools may be permitted
to take courses at the School of Law-Newark with the earned credit
transferred to the student`s home law school. Applications are accepted
for fall and spring terms. A cumulative grade-point average of
2.0/C or better is required.
Special admission decisions
are based on the number of available seats and the student`s hardship
necessitating the request. Only third-year students are considered. To
apply, the student must submit the following:
1. Special Student Admission Application
2. application fee of $50
3. letter of good standing and letter of permission to attend Rutgers from the dean of the school of matriculation
4. official law school transcript from the school of matriculation
