The number of credits appearing on the permanent record may be preceded by a letter prefix as follows:
E.
The course is excluded from credit toward a degree.
F.
The course was failed; no credit earned.
G.
A 300- or 400-level undergraduate course for which graduate credit has been approved.
N.
A
course is taken not-for-credit, an examination is not required, and a
final grade of S (satisfactory) or U (unsatisfactory) is assigned.
