Students will learn how to properly use an advanced digital camera equipped with various camera lenses to achieve desired photographic outcomes and to use basic concepts of photographic composition. Students will become proficient in the use of Adobe Photoshop CS6 for digital photo editing. The course is taught online, and is "hands on" with assignments focused on taking photographs and correcting/enhancing them. Students must have a digital camera available for the course.

This online course is an introduction to organic farming and gardening from the perspective of both agricultural professionals and home gardeners. After completing the course students will be able to plan and design an organic garden using concepts of soil fertility, composting, plant growth measurements, data collection, pest management, natural landscapes, and rain gardens.

This online course presents a chance for students to explore the environmental, social, and economic aspects of lawns and turfgrass through a variety of readings. Contemporary issues for New Jersey will also be investigated, including pollution in Barnegat Bay and the state law regulating fertilizer applications to turf for homeowners and professional landscapers.
