All applicants to the Mason Gross School of the Arts must submit a
formal application and fee through Rutgers University. In addition to the
university application and application fee, all students applying to the
digital filmmaking degree program at Mason Gross School of the Arts must
submit an online portfolio as well as answer questions about their intended major. Shortly after submitting the university
application, applicants will receive an email invitation to submit a secondary application and portfolio through SlideRoom. A nonrefundable talent evaluation fee (in
addition to the university's standard application fee) is also required of all
digital filmmaking applicants at the time of their digital narrative
submission. Digital filmmaking
applicants are expected to submit all digital narrative samples online. Hard
copies of work or work submitted on a CD will not be reviewed and cannot be
returned. For more information about digital filmmaking requirements, artistic
review fee payment, and submission instructions please visit
