Students
of the School of Communication and Information (SC&I) have the opportunity
to participate in residence life, dormitories, or nearby off-campus housing in

Rutgers University-New Brunswick offers undergraduate
students almost unlimited possibilities for co- and extracurricular activities.
There are over 400 student organizations on campus, and their student leaders
participate in advisement, organizational development programs, and support
services. These groups range from academic to social action organizations and
include the student government of the university, Rutgers University Student
Assembly (R.U.S.A.). There are over 80 fraternities and sororities that offer
opportunities for friendship, academic support, and housing. Rutgers has a wide
range of intercollegiate and intramural athletics and is home to the Scarlet
Knights
Within SC&I there are over a dozen student
organizations that offer social, educational, service, and career development
events. Most events are publicized and open to all students.
Leadership opportunities are plentiful, and
student leaders receive ongoing support and administrative assistance through
the SC&I Office of Student Services.
