Students are placed on
academic warning after earning a semester grade-point average below 2.000 for
the first time or immediately following a semester of good academic standing
(2.000 semester GPA or higher). Students receive individual email notifications of
warning status that explain the requirements that must be met for return to
good academic standing. During the semester of academic warning status,
students are restricted to a maximum of 16 credits and required to meet with an
academic adviser. Students are returned to good academic standing upon earning
a semester grade-point average of 2.000 or higher.
Students placed on
academic warning may be required to participate in programs designed to help
them return to good academic standing. Failure to comply with the conditions of
warning may result in further restrictions on registration or academic
suspension or dismissal.
