Advising

Students considering a program in the School of Communication and Information (SC&I) should contact the Office of Student Services to speak with an academic adviser. The office is located in Room 214 of the SC&I Building (CI 214) and is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments can be scheduled by calling the office at 848-932-7550. The office also provides guidance to admitted students throughout their program of study, and certifies students for graduation requirements.

Faculty in the school welcome the opportunity to discuss programs of study with students as well. Directors of the undergraduate programs are a good source of information about the coursework and career directions of their major.
