For both the major and the minor, students can count human resource management (HRM) courses taken toward either the major or minor. The HRM minor requires 18 credits, 4 of which need to be HRM courses (37-533). The HRM major requires 42 credits, 6 of which need to be HRM courses (37-533).
The Human Resource Management Department of the School of Management and Labor Relations will determine whether students have sufficiently completed the requirements necessary to receive the HRM minor or major at graduation. To facilitate this verification process, the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS) will provide a list of students who have applied for graduation and declared the HRM minor or major. Certification is managed through the SAS Senior Review System.
