Degree credit and placement are granted for grades of 4 and 5 on the College Board Advanced Placement Examinations, provided the subject matter is equivalent to those courses satisfying the engineering curriculum requirements. Each student has the option of presenting advanced placement results for degree credit or of taking the equivalent course at Rutgers for degree credit and a grade. Students may not receive credit for both advanced placement and the equivalent Rutgers course.
