Academic Advising

Students are urged to seek help and advice on their academic programs and progress by conferring with the staff of the Office of Academic Services. The deans and the chair of the Scholastic Standing Committee also may be consulted for advice on academic matters and course selection. For more information on advising, visit: https://pharm.rutgers.edu/content/student_advising.

However, students must assume full responsibility for conforming to the academic regulations of the school, for meeting prerequisite and graduation requirements, and for taking the specific courses as required in the appropriate semester of the curriculum. Students may consult with the chair of the Scholastic Standing Committee or the staff of the Office of Academic Services to determine their class standing, grade-point averages, current academic status, and progress toward meeting academic requirements for graduation.

During the four professional years of the program, each student is assigned a faculty adviser. Students with academic difficulties should seek out the course coordinator as well.
