Probation

Students are placed on academic probation when the semester grade-point average is lower than 2.000 but higher than the dismissal standard. Students receive individual written notifications of probationary status that include the requirements that must be met for return to good academic standing.

Students placed on academic probation may be required to participate in programs designed to help them return to good academic standing. Failure to comply with the conditions of probation may result in further restrictions on registration or academic dismissal. Students will receive at least one semester of academic probation before the first dismissal.
