Five-Year, Dual-Degree Undergraduate Programs

The five-year dual degree (B.A./B.S.) program is offered in conjunction with the School of Arts and Sciences (SAS). Students may enroll at SAS initially and then select a particular engineering curriculum at the end of the second year when they transfer to the School of Engineering. Alternatively, students enrolled in the four-year program at the School of Engineering may apply at any time prior to their final year to SAS for admission to the B.A./B.S. program. A B.S./B.S. program (in bioenvironmental engineering only) is offered in cooperation with the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences. For program details, see Five-Year Engineering Curricula in this chapter.

It also is possible for a student to complete the first two years of a five-year B.A./B.S. program at the Camden College of Arts and Sciences (CCAS) or the Newark College of Arts and Sciences (NCAS). For program details, see Transfer Program with Camden and Newark in this chapter.
