The
Office for Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA) staff
provides
crisis intervention, counseling, and advocacy to Rutgers students,
staff, and
faculty who are victims/survivors of interpersonal violence, including
sexual
violence, stalking, domestic/relationship violence, and peer harassment
as well
as other types of crime. VPVA is committed to the creation of a
community free
from violence and provides programs and information on violence
prevention,
including how to be a proactive, engaged bystander to help prevent
interpersonal violence in our community.
