Cost
Rutgers Law School tuition is half that of other schools in the region, and most students who are not already New Jersey residents can qualify for in-state tuition after their first year. Rutgers Law School has a tradition of awarding merit scholarships to students in their second and third years and is also dedicated to supporting students with financing their legal education. There are student loans, work-study employment, scholarships, grants, and repayment programs available. Summer funding also is available for certain public interest work. And as a direct student loan institution, our financial aid office will guide you through the process to make the costs of your legal education as manageable as possible.
