Programs in the Department of Learning and Teaching
The
following programs leading to the master of education degree are offered in the
Department of Learning and Teaching:

Programs combine
studies in general and professional education through coursework taken in
various departments in the Graduate School of Education and in other schools
and colleges of the university. Opportunities are available to integrate work
with computers into various areas of special interest. A sample of the
distribution of courses for these programs is provided as a guide. All master
of education degree programs must include 6 credits outside the field of
specialization. See specific program outlines (available in the department
office) for exact requirements.

in the area of specialization may, with permission of the adviser, include
courses in the department, the Graduate School of Education, and/or other
branches of the university, as specified in the program outline for each
specialization.
