Master of Education (Ed.M.) Programs with State Certification

The Graduate School of Education offers many master's degree programs that also result in a recommendation to the state for a license as a school professional. Among those are programs that prepare beginning teachers (biology, elementary education, English, English as a Second Language, foreign language, mathematics, physical science, physics, and social studies), as well as others that prepare school counselors, learning disabilities teacher consultants, school principals and supervisors, and reading specialists.

All of these programs, and their requirements, are described in this section of the catalog.
