Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy 2020-2022 About the School Programs and Degrees Postbaccalaureate Certificates

Postbaccalaureate Certificates

The Bloustein School's postbaccalaureate certificate programs allow nonmatriculated students, who have completed an undergraduate degree from a nationally/internationally accredited program, to enhance particular skills by developing cross-disciplinary expertise in a particular subject area.

Early-career professionals may pursue a certificate in order to enhance specific skills and explore pursuing the Bloustein School's full master's degree programs. Mid-career professionals may find the certificates of interest in order to upgrade and advance particular skills.

Students who successfully complete the 12-credit curriculum for a certificate are eligible to apply for the Bloustein School's master's programs in the related field and, if admitted, use their credits as part of their degree requirements.

  • Certificate in Public and Urban Informatics (enhances data and informatics skills to the application of planning and public policy topics)
  • Certificate in Public Policy (enhances knowledge and skills in the applied and interdisciplinary field of public policy)
