Bloustein School Alumni Association

The Bloustein School Alumni Association (BSAA) endeavors to forge an alumni network and meets throughout the year. The mission of the BSAA encompasses the connection, engagement, and involvement of alumni with the Bloustein School, and with one another, in support of the school's mission and goals. BSAA goals include cultivating links to alumni from all BSAA classes in order to strengthen the community of alumni; providing and maintaining channels of communication among alumni, faculty, staff, and students; offering a system of contacts for Bloustein students as they embark on their search for internships and employment; upholding, supporting and endorsing the reputation of the school; assisting in identifying prospective students; supporting the staff and faculty in the recruitment and admissions process; and serving as a resource promoting the events and activities sponsored by the school.

Bloustein School alumni strive to accomplish these goals through regional and affinity groups. Nationally and globally, the regional groups of Bloustein alumni in New Jersey, New York, Washington, DC, Chicago/Mid-West, West Coast, Asia, and Europe preserve the network as they build local ties, share social or professional resources, and represent Bloustein in their region. Bloustein alumni affinity groups consist of those with shared professional experiences and interests in areas such as transportation, government, nonprofit, recent alumni, community development; and are equally building their network, sharing their professional resources, and staying current with industry trends.

Bloustein Alumni Connections (BAC) is a gateway that connects Bloustein School students with alumni in the global community. These relationships are fulfilled in a variety of ways including participation in career advising, job talks, panel discussions, networking sessions, career development workshops, career fairs, student-alumni mentoring program (under development), and internship opportunities.

The BSAA is represented in the Rutgers University Alumni Federation, which sponsors universitywide programs, such as homecoming, distinguished alumni awards, legislative receptions, group travel, and insurance.
