A complete application consists of the application form, the application fee, official transcripts of previous academic work, résumé/curriculum vitae, personal statement or essay, three letters of recommendation, and test scores (see below). The doctoral program also requires a writing sample. Detailed procedures and instructions accompany the application forms. Applications should be filed with the Office of Graduate and Professional Admissions as early as possible to meet the deadlines listed in the application materials.
