The bachelor of science in nursing (B.S.N.) program is accredited by the
Commission on Collegiate
Nursing Education and approved by the New
Jersey State
Board of Nursing. Two tracks to the B.S.N. degree are currently
offered at Rutgers University–Camden: a four-year prelicensure
track and a postlicensure track for registered
nurses (R.N.'s).
Four-Year
Prelicensure Track:
The four-year
track is designed for students who will enroll as
freshmen and complete all degree requirements at
Rutgers–Camden.
Nursing courses start in the first year, with science,
arts,
and humanities courses integrated throughout the
curriculum. Transfer students, upon admission, will be considered individually and a proposed course of study will be discussed and developed with an adviser.
