A Diversified Student Body

The student population of University College–Camden is composed of adult learners as well as transfer students from other colleges. The college welcomes qualified students with no previous college experience. Students' ages range from 17 to 70, and even beyond. Most are candidates for a baccalaureate degree, while others are college graduates who are pursuing new fields of study in order to earn a second bachelor's degree or prepare for graduate school in a different area. When appropriate, the college also admits students who are not enrolled in any degree program but who wish to take courses for special professional or personal purposes. The strength of the University College–Camden student body lies in this diversity.

While many University College–Camden students take courses primarily in the evening on a part-time basis, all students are welcome to register for any undergraduate course in the daytime program for which they have the prerequisites.
