Formal admission to the School of Law–Camden and payment of tuition
and fees are prerequisites to registration. All students, by virtue of
registering, agree to comply with the regulations of the university and
of the law school.
The registration process consists of two essential steps:
1. The selection of courses. Enrolled students select courses
during announced advance registration periods by using the website
registration system. First-semester, first-year students are assigned
administratively to courses and sections by the Office of the Associate
Dean for Administration. This office also directly enters into the
university's computers the course assignment data for first-semester students. Thereafter, students must register individually for courses.
2. The payment of tuition and fees for the approved program to the bursar's office by established deadlines.
It is important to note that the registration process is completed only
after full tuition and fees are paid in accordance with the billing
instructions.
It is the
responsibility of the student to acquire, complete, and return registration and
term bill information, including payment of tuition and fees, on time. When
information is mailed, the student's last address of record in the registrar's
office is used; however, the university cannot and does not assume
responsibility if the student fails to receive this information. Students who do
not receive term bill payment instructions by August 1 for the fall semester and
December 1 for the spring semester should notify the campus bursar promptly.
Students who fail to preregister for the next semester during the specified period
and do so at a later date are subject to a late registration fee of $50.
