The law
school provides an extensive program of instruction in dispute resolution and
trial practice. Experienced attorneys teach courses in Pretrial Advocacy, Trial
Advocacy, Advanced Trial Advocacy, and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). The
primary methods of instruction are demonstration and student performance in
simulated litigation activities. In order to ensure maximum opportunity for
student practice and critique, sections are limited in size. Integrated litigation courses are offered in many practice areas. Selected students compete in intramural, regional, and national mock trial
competitions.
