Dual-Degree Programs

B.A./M.P.A. Dual-Degree Program - (See Dual-Degree Programs under Registration and Course Information in the Academic Policies and Procedures section.) The B.A./M.P.A. dual-degree program allows students majoring in economics, urban studies, and political science to take up to four master of public administration (M.P.A.) courses while completing their bachelor of arts (B.A.) degrees.

The four-year Law and M.P.A. program, administered jointly with Rutgers Law School in Camden, leads to the juris doctor (J.D.) and M.P.A. degrees. Students interested in this course of study must be accepted independently by both Rutgers Law School in Camden and the Graduate School-Camden's Department of Public Policy and Administration.

M.A./M.P.A. Dual-Degree Program - Rutgers University-Camden's graduate programs in criminal justice and public administration offer a 48-credit dual curriculum leading to the master of arts (M.A.) and M.P.A. degrees. Students must apply to and be accepted into both programs. For course selection, admitted students must consult with the graduate directors of each program. (See degree requirements on the Department of Public Policy and Administration's website: http://dppa.camden.rutgers.edu).
