Degree Requirements


The doctor of physical therapy degree is offered concurrently with  the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-School of Health Related Professions (UMDNJ-SHRP). Students must complete 110 credits in order to earn the joint degree. Students must comply with all program policies while enrolled and assume costs for the program and scheduled clinical internships. Students must complete an acceptable capstone project under the direction of a faculty adviser and perform satisfactorily on a comprehensive examination. Students must complete all scheduled clinical internships and required medical examinations. The program plan is as follows:
