Center for Clinical Learning

The Center for Clinical Learning provides undergraduate and graduate students with realistic, evidence-based patient care experiences that develop clinical reasoning, critical decision-making, team-building, and technical skills using state-of-the art equipment, high-fidelity patient simulators, and trained personnel who act as standardized patients. Current health care technology, such as tablet computers, electronic medication dispensing units, and other interactive hardware/software are also utilized. The center offers scheduled classes, simulations, and interprofessional experiences for students at all program levels as well as flexible opportunities for practice and remediation. The center has locations on each campus: in Newark in Ackerson Hall and the Bergen Building, in New Brunswick at the Paterson Street Building, and in Halpern Hall on the Blackwood Campus.
