R.N. to B.S. in Nursing Program

Content from 15-17 catalog

The School of Nursing offers registered nurses the opportunity to obtain a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree with an option to take graduate courses to accelerate professional development.

With the graduate degree option, graduate courses can be taken while completing the baccalaureate degree. Registered nurse students with a minimum 3.0 grade-point average at Rutgers can earn graduate credits to meet master's or doctor of nursing practice (D.N.P.) degree requirements. Selected graduate courses may be used to meet both baccalaureate and graduate degree requirements. On completion of the baccalaureate degree, students can apply to the graduate program and the graduate courses taken in the baccalaureate program will apply to their graduate program credits.
