Center for Research on Ending Violence



Founded in 2007, as the Center on Violence Against Women and Children's (VAWC)  at the Rutgers School of Social Work, the Center for Research on Ending Violence strives to eliminate all forms of violence and the power imbalances that permit them. We accomplish our mission through a collaborative approach that focuses on multidisciplinary researcheducation, and community engagement.mission is to work to eliminate physical, sexual, and other forms of violence against women and children and the power imbalances that permit them. These goals are accomplished through a collaborative approach that focuses on multidisciplinary research, education, and community engagement.
