Goals of the School

The School of Criminal Justice's work prevents crime and disorder, and promotes safety, security, justice, and their attendant values. Our mission within the university is to provide students with an interdisciplinary education that involves the marriage of up-to-date criminological thinking with specific applications to reduce crime and improve justice. Our mission locally, nationally, and globally is to ensure that the school's work inside the university is effective in improving policy and practice in crime reduction and criminal justice.
