Management Core Requirement

All management majors are required to maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 and complete the following required courses:

29:620:325 Organizational Behavior (3)
29:620:345 Management of Human Resources (3)

Management Electives

All management majors are required to complete three management electives from the following courses:

29:620:350 Negotiations (3)
29:620:355 Managing Technology (3)
29:620:370 Managing Diversity in Organizations (3)
29:620:375 Organizational Design and Change (3)
29:620:410 Executive Leadership (3)
29:620:482 Creativity in Decision Making (3)
29:620:487 Management Consulting (3)

29:620:491 Management Cooperative Education (6) (BA) (6 credits: 3 credits will count toward management elective credit and 3 credits will count toward free elective credit.) Internship program for six months (January to June, or June to December) at a participating corporation. Must complete the Coop Form and consult with an RBS Career Management Specialist to receive credit. Evaluations by corporate supervisor in the participating organization and an RBS Career Management Specialist determine final grade in the course. Prerequisites: 29:010:204, 29:390:329, 29:620:300, 29:630:301, and junior standing.

29:620:493 Special Topics: Cross-Cultural Management (3)
29:620:494 Special Topics: Managing Teams (3)

29:620:496/497 Management Internship (BA) (must complete internship form and consult with an RBS Career Management Specialist to receive credit)

29:620:498/499 Independent Projects in Management (BA) (must complete independent study form and consult with an academic adviser to receive credit)
