Graduation with Honors


Newark College of Arts and Science (NCAS) students may graduate with honors upon meeting the following requirements at the end of the final semester for the baccalaureate degree:

1. Completion of a minimum of 30 credits at NCAS

2. Achievement of a cumulative grade-point average as follows:

Summa Cum Laude: 3.850 or better

Magna Cum Laude: 3.700 to 3.849

Cum Laude: 3.500 to 3.699
