School-Newark and New Brunswick (RBS) is an integral part of one of the nation's oldest, largest, and most distinguished institutions of higher learning: Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.
Founded in 1929, RBS has been accredited since 1941 by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International), a distinction that represents the hallmark of excellence in management education. Today, RBS is educating more than 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students at two main campuses in New Jersey as well as six satellite locations in New Jersey, China, and Singapore.
RBS students and faculty access a strong network of corporate partnerships and more than 27,000 RBS alumni. Through a multidisciplinary approach with other Rutgers schools and departments, they also tap into a network of over 380,000 Rutgers University alumni.
Steeped in academic excellence, with a distinguished faculty, RBS is highly ranked by the Financial Times, U.S. News & World Report, BusinessWeek, and the Wall Street Journal. Degree Programs
RBS
offers an undergraduate program, a full-time M.B.A. program, a part-time M.B.A. program, an executive M.B.A., an international executive M.B.A., and an M.B.A. in professional accounting. Other graduate degree options include the master of information technology, master of quantitative finance, as well as master of accountancy degrees in financial accounting, governmental accounting, and taxation. In addition, a Ph.D. in management is offered.
Multidisciplinary dual-degree and joint-degree programs are also available, enabling students to combine an M.B.A. degree with a science or liberal arts degree.
Beginning with the fall 2008 semester, RBS now offers two new accelerated bachelor's/M.B.A. degrees, enabling students to obtain an undergraduate and graduate degree as well as valuable work experience, through a required internship, in as little as five-and-a-half years: the B.S. in business/M.B.A. and the science M.B.A.
The Science M.B.A. is designed specifically for undergraduate students with an interest in science, to open up doors to leadership jobs and careers.
The B.S. in business/M.B.A., open to Rutgers' top business students, provides internships, team consulting, and cooperative employment opportunities to provide our students with a competitive edge for launching their careers. RBS is the only business school in New Jersey that provides M.B.A. students with such powerful real-world experiences.
RBS also has long-standing dual-degree programs, with a B.S./M.B.A. and a B.A./M.B.A. degree offered in conjunction with Rutgers' Newark and New Brunswick schools of arts and sciences.
Master-level dual-degree programs include a J.D./M.B.A. and a J.D./professional accounting M.B.A., offered in conjunction with the Rutgers School of Law-Newark. An M.P.P. (public policy)/M.B.A. is offered in conjunction with Rutgers Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Other joint degree programs include the M.P.H. (public health)/M.B.A., an M.S. in biomedical sciences/M.B.A. and an M.D./M.B.A., offered with the University of Medicine and Dentistry New Jersey (UMDNJ).

Nondegree Programs
Nondegree programs include the Post-M.B.A. Certificate, the Certificate in Government Financial Management, a Pharmaceutical Management Certificate, and the Supply Chain Management Certificate. We also offer a variety of Mini-M.B.A.TM certificates through the Center for Management Development.
