When a student is dismissed from the program due to failure to maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average, that student is ineligible to take any courses offered by Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark (RBS) that has not been previously attempted. A student who has been dismissed may apply for readmission only when the cumulative grade-point average has been raised to a minimum of 2.5 and at least one semester with a minimum grade-point average of 2.5 has been achieved subsequent to the dismissal. Students seeking readmission must submit an appeal letter to the Scholastic Standing Committee, Engelhard Hall, Room 111, 190 University Avenue, Newark, NJ 07102. Letters must be received by either May 1 for readmission for the fall semester or December 1 for readmission for the spring semester. Students granted reentry into RBS after dismissal must maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average. Students failing to maintain a 2.5 cumulative grade-point average in any given semester will be dismissed from RBS. Students who have been dismissed twice are not eligible for readmission to Rutgers Business School: Undergraduate-Newark.
