R.N. to B.S. in Nursing
The School of Nursing offers
registered nurses the opportunity to obtain a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree
with a graduate degree option in order to accelerate professional development.
Registered nurses with an associate's degree from an accredited nursing program
may receive credit for all nursing courses and any courses that meet the School
of Nursing program requirements in the humanities, social sciences, and sciences.
Registered nurses with a diploma or
those who have graduated from a cooperative nursing program may receive up to
24 nursing credits for prior nursing education and can transfer required
courses in the humanities, social sciences, and physical sciences. There is no
limit on the number of courses that can be transferred; however there is a
30-credit residency requirement at Rutgers.
Specific curriculum requirements may
be obtained from the Office of Student Services or the School of
Nursing website.
