Program Description

Rutgers College of Nursing offers a masters of science (M.S.) degree in nursing leadership. A postbaccalaureate doctor of nursing practice (D.N.P.) degree and post-master's D.N.P. degree in nursing leadership are also available.

Master's study takes students from the baccalaureate-prepared generalist to the specialist in nursing leadership. This is a great option for the individual who wants to be the frontline manager in any health care setting. This option also creates an excellent bridge to the post-master's doctorate with a leadership focus.
