Authority for Student Discipline


Ultimate authority for student discipline is vested with the Board of Governors of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. This authority has been delegated to university administrators, faculty, students, committees, and organizations as set forth in the University Code of Student Conduct. The above summary is intended to present some key facts of the code. Copies of the code are available from all deans of students' offices or online at http://polcomp.rutgers.edu/judaff/docs/UCSC.pdf. In addition, the director of student conduct will provide copies of the code upon request and is available to answer any questions about the code or related judicial matters.
