Music


All applicants to the Mason Gross School of the Arts must submit a formal application and fee through Rutgers University. In addition to the university application and fee, all students applying to the music department at Mason Gross School of the Arts must complete an audition (if the student is only applying to performance or jazz) and interview (if the student is applying to composition or music education). A nonrefundable audition and/or interview fee (in addition to the university's standard application fee) is also required prior to the time of the audition and/or interview.
