The School of Engineering awards several scholarships annually from several endowed and restricted scholarship accounts to both new and continuing students on the basis of academic merit, financial need, and community service. Continuing students may submit an online application each year for annual awards at http://www.soe.rutgers.edu/oaa/scholarships. For need-based awards, it is essential that applicants have an updated FAFSA application on file.The School of Engineering also funds University Merit Scholarships awarded to new first-year students upon admission, including Presidential, RU Scarlet, Deans, James Dickson Carr, and RU National Scholarships.
