Second Bachelor's Degree

Students with a previously earned bachelor's degree from another institution who matriculate at the School of Environmental and Biological Sciences for the purpose of earning a second degree must (1) complete a minimum of 30 credits from Rutgers University, and (2) fulfill the course requirements listed under Areas VII (experience-based education) and VIII (proficiency in a field/concentration) for the major (see Programs of Study chapter). The requirements of Areas VII and VIII may, however, be modified by the undergraduate program director or curriculum coordinator, in consultation with the student, and subject to final approval by the school's Admissions and Scholastic Standing Committee.
