University College-New Brunswick students are designated as either
matriculated or nonmatriculated. Students who declare their intention
to pursue a degree program are classified as matriculated students. Any
student not pursuing a degree program is classified as nonmatriculated.
Enrollment in some courses may be restricted to students enrolled in
approved degree programs. Academic and administrative regulations apply
to both classifications of students. Credits earned as a
nonmatriculated student may not be used to satisfy the college
residency requirement unless the student already has a bachelor`s
degree and is a candidate for a second degree upon matriculation.
Ordinarily, a nonmatriculated student may accumulate no more than 30
credits.
